How do I connect to my Minecraft server

First server up and running? Awesome! Now get your squad in. Connecting to your Minecraft server on is dead simple — grab the IP:port from your panel and join via the game. Works for Java Edition (PC/Mac) and Bedrock (Mobile/Console).
 
This guide is for newbies — step-by-step, no hassle.
 

Quick Prep: Make sure your server is ready!

  1. Login to our game panel (https://panel.lunarracks.com)
  2. Click your Minecraft server.
  3. Console tab -> Start button
  4. Wait for "Done" in the logs (1-2 minutes.) Status: Online.

Tip: If this is your first time starting the server, you may need to accept the EULA.

 

Step 1: Find your servers IP and Port

  1. On your server dashboard (main page after clicking the server)
  2. Look for the Address at the top right.
    1. Something like: IP (numbers) : PORT (numbers)
      1. e.g. 1.2.3.4:56789
  3. Copy it exactly by clicking on it, or highlight + Ctrl +C.

Tip: Share this with friends!

 

Step 2a: Connect in Minecraft (Java Edition - PC/Mac)

  1. Open Minecraft Java (match you server's version, e.g. 1.21.1 - check the Startup tab in our game panel).
  2. Click MultiplayerAdd Server.
  3. Server Name: Anything fun, like "Outta This World".
  4. Server Address: Paste your server IP:Port (e.g. 1.2.3.4:56789)
  5. Click Done > Join Server.

Boom! - you're in!

 

Step 2b: Connect in Minecraft (Mobile/PS/Xbox)

  1. Open Minecraft (Bedrock Edition)
  2. Play > Servers tab > Add Server.
  3. Server Name: Anything fun, like "Outta This World".
  4. Server Address: Paste your server IP (e.g. 1.2.3.4)
  5. Port: Paste Port (e.g. 56789)
  6. Click Play > Select server.

Note: Bedrock servers need to be running the specific bedrock version. Check with us to ensure.

 

What if I can't connect? 

Error/Message Fix
"Can't connect to server" Server offline? Start it! Wrong IP:Port? Double-check and copy+paste.
"Outdated client/server" Update Minecraft to match the server version (Startup tab > Version dropdown).
"Connection refused" / Timeout Firewall? Ask us! Its also possible you have a whitelist on (Files > whitelist.json > Add your username > Restart).
"Failed to connect to the server" Online-mode issue? Edit server.properties > online-mode=false (if cracked). Restart.
Modded server? Install same mods/Forge/Fabric on your client.
"Connection closed" Too many players? You may be low on RAM.
 
Pro tip: Test the server yourself, then share the connection info with a friend.
 

Bonus: Make it fancy

  • Custom domain: Ask us for a subdomain! (e.g. CustomName.svrsbx.com)
  • Direct connect: Ine Minecraft, Multiplayer > Direct Connection > Paste IP:Port.
  • Share QR Code: Screenshot IP:Port > Use an online QR generator for mobile friends.
